At Pachmarhi one can see, listen and observe its Scenic Beauty, Valleys, Hills, Caves, Rock - paintings, Wildlife, Dense Forests, Waterfalls, Flora and Fauna in their pure form which have a unique fragrance of virginity. The uniqueness about Pachmarhi lies in its naturalness and undiluted environment.

>> Jaistambha :

Jaisatmbha or Satrasta is the only point of Pachmarhi from where seven different roads depart. The photograph shows it in its full beauty, prepared for Pachmarhi Festival. For sight-seeing of Pachmarhi, Jaistambha should be taken as a starting point for almost all the spots as shown in the map.

>> Pandava Caves ( Panch Pandava Gufa ) :

The name of Pachmarhi is said to have its genesis to 'Panchmathi ' (five huts) and is derived from ancient-caves which have been hewn in a small hill known as Pandava Gufa. From Jaistambha it is hardly 1km. away. Archaeologically these Caves are said to be carved by Buddhists in the 9th or 10th Century A.D. but the popular myth and belief associate them with Agyatavasa of Pandavas. Scenic beauty of Pachmarhi town from the top and it's beautiful garden and ornamental nursery increase the charm.

>> Bees Fall (Jamuna Prapat) :

Bees Fall is hardly 2 km. from Jaistambha. Take the road, shown in the map towards Rajbhavan and after crossing the Governor house turn towards right. Keep your vehicle as suggested by the forest authorities at checkpost. After short walk a beautiful water-stream appears usually used as a bathing pool. This water-stream flows and jumps into the valley to make one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Pachmarhi.

Fall makes a sound like thousands of Bees are singing and accordingly called Bees Fall. This spectacular fall leaves long-lasting memory when one stays under its cold, fresh and pure water coming directly from the height of 100 ft. and feel it stroking soothingly on his head.

>> Duchess Fall :

Duchess Fall is without any doubt, is the most beautiful waterfall of Pachmarhi. From Jaistambha take the same road which goes towards Bees Fall. Just before turning towards air strip, turn right and after almost 1km. one has to leave his vehicle and go down into the Valley to reach the fall. Lots of stamina and patience is required to have a look of this beautiful fall.

>> Sunder Kund (Saunder's Pool) :

Crossing the stream below Duchess Falls and following a footpath about 2.5 km. in a south-westerly direction brings one to a huge rocky pool in the Jambu Dwip stream, an excellent place for swimming.
